Introducing the GX-Race series of mid frame turbochargers. 100% new compressor aero mated to the proven G series turbine wheel produces 11% more flow compared to the previous GEN 2 compressor. This new blade design provides a wider operating map with greater efficiency while maintaining the 73.9/102.00mm size specific for many class racing rules. The GX-Race GXR45-73 is rated to 140#/min of airflow, or approaching 1450 flywheel HP in optimal installations. The turbine stage is the proven Garrett G series 9 bladed turbine, measuring 89mm inducer and 82mm exducer to provide flow and response for a wide range of installations. The GXR45 is a direct drop in for all existing G/GT/GTX42 series turbochargers as well as many S400SX3 T4 based BorgWarner Units. Turbine housings are the same between the GXR and G series of the same turbine size and trim, making this an easy upgrade from GEN 2 technology.
