Introducing the GX-Race series of mid frame turbochargers. 100% new compressor aero mated to the proven G series turbine wheel produces 29% more flow compared to the previous GEN 2 compressor. This new blade design provides a wider operating map with greater efficiency while maintaining the 68.9/102.00mm size specific for many class racing rules. The GX-Race GXR45-68 is rated to 135#/min of airflow, or approaching 1400 flywheel HP in optimal installations. The turbine stage is the proven Garrett G series 9 bladed turbine, measuring 82mm inducer and 72mm exducer to provide flow and response for a wide range of installations. The GXR42 is a direct drop in for all existing G/GT/GTX42 series turbochargers as well as many S400SX3 T4 based BorgWarner Units. Turbine housings are the same between the GXR and G series of the same turbine size and trim, making this an easy upgrade from GEN 2 technology.
